We are happy to announce the birth of John Ambroise Robbie on Friday night, July 17th, at 10:55pm. 9 days overdue John came skating into the world healthy and happy at 7lbs 8 ounces and 20 inches long. It was a fun night and a great experience. Amanda may not remember it that way but I'm sure as time passes she will forget about the pain and screaming. Amanda was a star and true to form insisted on walking to the hospital. She even thought it would be funny to tell me the baby was coming while she was in the middle of a contraction on the side of the road! Here are a few pictures from the first night. We'll keep you updated on John's progress over the next few days.
